More kids in Victoria are going to get a chance to play football after a Victorian MiniRoos Day saw numerous mums and dads complete their ALDI MiniRoos Certificate course.
The course is designed to show parents and volunteers how to run ALDI MiniRoos football sessions for youngsters aged between four and nine.
The parents spent half of their time on the Football Federation Victoria organised course understanding the theoretical components of providing sessions before jumping into some fun football activities.
Once they had been put through their paces, the new coaches used their newly developed session plans to deliver a free ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off session to over 100 excited kids.
Those kids had already enjoyed a fun packed morning, with the ALDI MiniRoos Chipping Target getting plenty of action and a competition to clip a ball into an over-sized ALDI MiniRoos lunch box drawing the crowds.
