Kids at Fletcher Football Club were greeted with a mixture of Super Heroes and comic characters on their final weekend of ALDI MiniRoos football.
Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) ALDI MiniRoos Football Development Officer Tom Oldaker ensured the youngsters were fed with fruit before testing their skills on the ALDI MiniRoos Chipping Challenge on the day.
He said: “The ALDI inflatable shooting target, free fruit and sunscreen is a great initiative provided by ALDI that really adds to the match day experience."
“It creates that link between football being a fun, healthy and safe sport which is the message we want to deliver,” Oldaker concluded.
Oldaker was also present as 270 young players from 21 teams took part in Lochinvar Rovers’ Gala Day.
In April 2017, Lochinvar was the first community club in the region to achieve Level 2 FFA National Club Accreditation status.
The status is awarded to clubs for meeting criteria of Teams Entered, Club Management & Governance, Child Protection, Accredited Coaches, Safety & Risk Management and Promoting Positive Behaviour & establishing a Strategic Development Plan for the club.
