Curtin University FC praise AIA Vitality MiniRoos Kick-Off program

Football West and Curtin University FC have worked together to produce a video highlighting the success of the AIA Vitality MiniRoos Kick-Off program in Bentley, Perth.

The Kick-Off Program allows clubs to introduce kids aged between four and nine to football in a fun environment.

Football West MiniRoos Development Officer Christopher Adams said: “It’s a program the clubs can sculpture around their needs.

“They can run the program for as long as they want to and that gives kids an opportunity to play all year around.”

Clubs signing up to run a AIA Vitality MiniRoos Kick-Off program receive several coaching aides including balls, goals, cones and bibs as well as expert advice.

Johnathan Johnston, Curtin University FC, said: “We were looking for a program that gave us structure and support for our coaches and this has been a runaway success.

“Our numbers are up and the feedback from parents and kids have been excellent.”
