We are proud to announce we have now launched our 100th new ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off program in 2017.
Football is already Australia’s largest club-based participation sport and we are helping that number grow by setting up more and more of our Kick-Off introductory programs.
Kick-Off sessions are great fun way for kids to learn how to play football. Taught in a friendly environment, children aged between 4 and 9 enjoy 45 minute sessions and pick up the skills required to play one of Australia's safest sports.
We ensure all players get plenty of time on the ball and each session is delivered in an inclusive environment.
Every child also receives an ALDI MiniRoos Participant Pack when they register that includes their very own ball and water bottle.
Football Federation Australia's Head of Community Football Development, Emma Highwood, said: "This is great news for the young children of Australia, as it means we are able to introduce more players to the global game.
"Football has the ability to transform the lives of children by helping them develop their social skills and generate the self-confidence they need to thrive at school - as well as keeping them fit and healthy.
"We are particularly pleased with the number of young girls who are starting to play football in our Girls Only programs.
"Parents are telling us how much their daughters are thriving in this new environment and we believe these programs will become increasingly popular."
